FABRICS WE RECOMMEND
Two fabrics we use regularly, each offering a different balance of stretch, structure and feel.
View color chart Recommended for women's breeches
72% Polyester / 28% Elastane
320g/m² · gsm
Our choice for a more flexible, shaping fit. Generous stretch follows the body and supports a close, contoured silhouette in fitted women’s riding breeches.
View color chart Recommended for men's breeches
75% Nylon / 25% Elastane
350g/m² · gsm
A firmer fabric with more body, selected for abrasion resistance and a defined shape. Its heavier hand gives men’s riding breeches a crisp, structured silhouette while retaining stretch.
We also recommend fabrics around the season, women’s or men’s styles, and the performance your riders need. Discuss lighter options for summer, warmer constructions for winter, or a different balance of stretch, shaping, structure and abrasion resistance.

Full-seat, knee-patch or no silicone: three ways to shape the contact, feel and appearance of your custom riding breeches.

Seat + inner leg
Silicone extends across the seat and inner leg for a more connected feel in the saddle. Shape the coverage, motif and spacing around your riding discipline and collection.

Targeted knee contact
Silicone is concentrated at the inner knee, leaving the seat plain. A focused grip layout for riders who prefer more freedom through the seat, with patch size and position tailored to the pattern.

Clean fabric finish
A plain seat and inner leg without applied silicone, for riders who prefer the natural feel of the fabric. Shaped seams and careful panel construction keep the design clean and comfortable.
THE EZ EQUESTRIAN DIFFERENCE
Our attention goes beyond the silicone pattern. Precise cutting, suitable materials and controlled application work together to create a clean, consistent finish for your brand.
We refine the cut panels and placement guides together, checking left-to-right alignment so the grip follows the garment’s shape.
We recommend flexible textile-grade silicone, chosen to suit the fabric’s stretch, hand feel and the grip finish you want.
We control heat-press time, temperature and pressure for the chosen fabric and transfer, helping keep the print definition consistent.
We control cooling and setting time before handling the panels, then review the grip’s surface, edges and placement before sewing.
CUSTOM BREECHES DETAILS
Build your riding breeches from the waistband to the ankle. Use this design sketch to plan the details, then review their position, construction and feel on your sample.
Specify belt width, loop placement and the front waist closure to match your collection.
Sample checkLeave enough room for the intended belt, reinforce loop ends and check that the closure stays comfortable when seated.
Angled openings and snap details give the front a tailored look with practical access.
Sample checkConfirm pocket depth, snap position and opening size. Reinforce the snap area and check that hardware does not press against the rider.
Faux welt pockets create a clean, balanced rear profile without the bulk of pocket bags.
Sample checkMatch left and right height, angle and length. Keep edges flat and confirm that these are decorative rather than functional pockets.
A discreet zip pocket keeps small essentials close, with placement and capacity adapted to your brief.
Sample checkSize the pocket around the intended phone or item. Review zip direction, add a backing or guard where needed, and check access in the riding position.
Choose a stretch sock panel or a slim finished cuff to suit the boot combination and silhouette.
Sample checkConfirm calf taper, ankle opening and finished length. Check stretch recovery and keep seam bulk low for a smooth fit inside riding boots.
YOUR BRAND, YOUR FINISH
Choose the texture, color and placement that express your brand. We offer embroidery, silicone screen printing, heat transfers and custom metal badges.

Texture in every stitch
Raised thread adds depth and a classic equestrian finish. Match thread colors to your palette for a visible signature or a subtle tonal logo.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Three answers to help shape your design. Find MOQ, sampling, payment and delivery guidance in our FAQ center.
View all FAQsFull-seat silicone covers the seat and inner leg; knee-patch silicone focuses on the inner knee; a no-silicone style keeps those areas as plain fabric. Choose around your target rider’s preference, discipline and garment feel. Coverage alone is not a measured grip rating, so compare the actual samples.
